Biography

Born in Buenos Aires, in 1979, Esteban Colucci began his music studies at the age of 5 at the Collegium Musicum of Buenos Aires and then at the Conservatorio Manuel de Falla as a student of Víctor Villadangos and Javier Bravo.

He has performed extensively, both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles, in most of the major halls and theatres of his country. Abroad he has played in such diverses cities as Paris, Moscow, London, Copenhagen, Brussels, Tallinn, or Vilnius to name a few.

His repertory spans from Baroque music to Tango. In the field of contemporary music he has worked close to many composers premiering a great number of works, in many cases written especially for him.

His seven solo recordings have earned him the recognition of critics and public alike situating him as one of the foremost representatives of the young generation of musicians of his country.

He also holds a degree in chamber music from the Unla., where he studied with pianist Alicia Belleville.

 

Biografia

Nacido en Buenos Aires en 1979, inicio su formación musical a los cinco años en el Collegium Musicum. Luego ingresa al Conservatorio Superior de música Manuel de Falla donde estudia con los maestros  Víctor Villadangos y Javier Bravo.

Ha realizado conciertos como solista e integrando diversos grupos de música de cámara en la mayoría de las salas de concierto de Buenos Aires y el interior del país. En el exterior se ha presentado como solista en Francia, Dinamarca, Rusia, El Reino Unido, Bélgica, Lituania y Estonia entre otros paises. Asimismo ha actuado en audiciones radiales locales y extranjeras.

En el ámbito de la música contemporánea trabajó junto a varios compositores Argentinos y extranjeros estrenando un gran número de obras, en muchos casos escritas especialmente para él.

Es además, Licenciado en Música de Cámara por la Universidad Nacional de Lanús donde estudió con la pianista Alicia Belleville.
